Crazy Assignments
Why must some teachers require crazy things for assignment?
I can never understand why some teachers require things in assignments that can be hard for a working parent to accomplish. I have a teacher who wants us to complete some off the wall assignments that would be difficult for a student that is just going to school to complete, not thinking about how hard it might be for a student who have other responsibilities that come before school. I know you must be thinking school needs to come before most things, but when you have a child you have to make sure they are taken care of and that includes working so you can afford anything your child might need. With such a busy schedule it can almost be impossible to try and make extra trips to the school, or to any other place for that matter, not including the extra expense for gas to go anywhere. I just wish some of these teachers would think about some of the different obstacles that some of their students already go through just to get to class, before they give us these outrageous assignments that can see nearly impossible to complete.
